Monte Vista Nature Park at 4201 Spring Road, Moorpark, California.

Short trail to the top of a hill in the middle of a neighborhood. It's about .74 miles or 20 min at a leisurely pace round trip if you follow the trail and loop around the top of the hill. Great place to walk/run if you live in the area or a driving by and want to stretch your legs. Not a destination hike though. There is neighborhood access, several picnic tables and a water fountain at the bottom and two benches for taking in the view at the top. Easy hike for kids that includes lizards, birds and cacti to discover. Parking is limited as others have said and there are no restrooms.
